Come help us celebrate our 20th Anniversary of Vikings Come Home

 

After many years at alternate sites, The Barony of Donnershafen is pleased to welcome everyone back to Northwestern Michigan Fairgrounds in Traverse City, Michigan for our 20th Anniversary. (map)

 

 

 

All activities must be approved by the autocrats.

 

Saturday - free breakfast to those who camp and a Lunch Tavern will be available.

 

Pets are welcome!

 

The site is wet and no smoking is allowed in the building.

 

Please do not dig up fire pits. Braziers may be used but there is always a community Viking Bardic Fire in which we encourage you to attend/participate!

 

As with all SCA events, everyone must register with Troll and make an attempt at garb.

Troll

Friday from 6pm-10pm.
Saturday from 8am-2pm.
Everyone must be clear of the site by noon on Sunday.

 

 

Site Fee

$8 - adults (12+ yrs) / $4 - children (5-12 yrs) / 5 yrs and under - free

Non-member surcharge: $5

 

Camping Fee (CORRECTION)

According to Northwestern Michigan Fairground Rules, Camp Fee has been revised to the following:

 

$10 per tent per Night*

 

 

Feast (Menu)

$10 per person / Feast is limited to 125 people, and generally sells out prior to the event.

Reservations are on a first come-first served basis, and are only held once paid.

The site is "wet" and valid ID must be shown at troll.

 

 

*We will have a designated family camping area set a bit away from the main camp.

However, we cannot guarantee that children will not be exposed to drunken Vikings who like to sing.
